Yellow signs have appeared on fences, lamposts and doors all around the village as today is the start of NEOS. All over Aberdeenshire people will be spending the next nine days visiting artists and makers in venues of all different shapes and sizes.
Here in Johnshaven we have 12 entries in the NEOS catalogue, but there are many more people than that actually exhibiting.
It's a great day out, and at the weekends there's a cafe in the Village Hall to raise funds for the Primary School and our local environmental group, Shark.
